POSITION SUMMARY:
The Memory Care Director position champions Walking Horse Meadows’s Flourish Memory Care philosophy and lives the core values and mission of Walking Horse Meadows; “Enhancing the Human Spirit.” This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and leadership of the Memory Care Neighborhood and is responsible for training, development, and ongoing compliance of the program standards for the Flourish Memory Care Programs, community policies and procedures and applicable state regulations as they apply to memory care. This position also works collaboratively with the management team to ensure the planning and implementation of all therapeutic programming, entertainment, service planning and achievement of occupancy development goals. The Memory Care Director is the process owner to implement and oversee the points of distinction established in the areas of Flourish Restore, Flourish Enrich, Flourish Connect, Flourish Create, Flourish Engage, and Flourish Contribute. This role must possess compassion, and a genuine concern for the well-being and interest of seniors, along with experience in dementia care and life enrichment programming.
