Program Management Coordinator

Description

Chartis Federal is hiring a Program Management Coordinator to support a federal customer. This position will initially be able to work remotely and then transition to working on site at a federal location as reopening proceeds. This team develops and delivers innovative solutions supporting a nationwide land-mobile radio (LMR) system. You will work on the engineering team that oversees and drives all technical initiatives for the system. Technical aspects include but are not limited to: LMR Project 25 (P25) Core Systems, RF Systems, networking technologies and protocols, and network monitoring, and IT systems and components.

Responsibilities: 

Management Support (30%): Support engineering initiatives and projects, including weekly reports and tracking of information for a team comprised of IT, network, and LMR engineers.

• At direction of Program Manager, assign tasks to employees in project tracker spreadsheet. 
• Collect weekly updates from each employee’s task tracker and consolidate that progress into the main project tracker. 
• Maintain staff utilization tracker showing employee project assignments. 

Technical Editor (50%): Review of technical reports and presentations from engineering team for compliance with government requirements in format, language correctness, technical/non-technical reader understanding.

Documentation (20%): Develop and maintain system documentation including but not limited to as-is system drawings, proposed system drawings, network topology drawings, system design documents, system IP addressing plans, system security documents, concept of operations (ConOps) documents, and test and evaluation plans. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 2 years relevant experience. 
• Experience creating and updating project trackers 
• Strong understanding of Excel for weekly progress + tracking reports and project information organization.
• Strong understanding of Word and Power Point to edit and format documents.
• Strong written & oral communication, and organizational skills

Security Clearance

Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
