The Data Analytics Developer\Analyst is responsible for development and operations of Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehouse, and Data Management for the CU. The Developer\Analyst will work closely with Chartway’s stakeholders in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support analytics solutions. Once developed, solutions will deliver essential data to satisfy their informational needs and the needs of our members. The Developer\Analyst will train and develop both internal resources as well as Subject Matter Experts in different departments on proper ways to query, analyze and use data.

Responsible and Accountable for:

• Build elements of data infrastructure to help the business insights, product analytics, and all business functions to use data to drive decisions and build new products
• Design rich data visualizations to communicate complex information, ideas, and findings to non-technical key stakeholders
• Conducts research into BI, EDM industry trends and products as required and provides recommendations based on this research
• Interfaces across the organization to share vision and provide guidance on usage of the data product/solution
• Collaborate with teams to identify, prioritize, and develop key features to meet business needs.
• Supports Requirements Analysis, Presenting Technical Information, and Problem Solving. Be able to quickly determine the best way to put information together
• Participates actively in data representation; data standards; and policy as it pertains to Business Intelligence and Analytic products and solutions

• Strong technical knowledge of data management systems, data warehouse methodology, data quality, data modelling, data governance, analytics, and predictive modeling
• Strong technical knowledge of current data management trends

Education and Experience:

• Education: BS Degree in Economics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related area.
• Experience: 3 years of experience with professional data analysis
• 3 years of experience in data visualization platforms such as Microsoft BI Tools.
• Proven experience setting up data quality, monitoring, and governance infrastructure
• Preferred 3 years of experience in financial services industry
• Proven success supporting a data analytics solution within an organization
• Must possess superior project management skills and able to lead complex projects
