What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Direct Care position at CHD Brand?
CHD’s is looking for new team member for our new Respite Program in South Hadley. We are looking for people who have an interest in psychology and a firm belief that all members of our community should be treated with dignity and respect.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily activities include providing direct services to program clients living in a respite setting
- Supporting clients' activities of daily living, administering medications as needed
- Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus
- The ideal candidates will have a desire to work with members of our community who have mental illness
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but can be substituted for an abundance of heart and the ability to establish caring, meaningful relationships.
- Written and verbal communication skills are critical as is the ability to work with computers.
- All positions require a background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check, as well as a reliable vehicle for work use.
