What are the responsibilities and job description for the SMB Account Executive position at Checkr?
As an SMB Account Executive, you will drive new business in the small to mid-sized business market segment (SMB) through your prospecting, deal and pipeline management, and closing abilities. You will be part of an elite, professional, and rapidly growing team that succeeds through collaboration, tenacity, and constant improvement.
What you’ll do:
- You will engage prospects to pursue and close new business within the SMB segment (up to 500 employees) across a wide variety of vertical markets
- You will plan and prioritize sales activities which includes but not limited to; targeted sales campaigns, targeted email and calling, virtual customer meetings, and demos
- You will handle inbound leads that come through our Demand Generation teams, maintaining response time SLAs
- You will do outbound prospecting to fill your pipeline with qualified sales opportunities
- You will consistently achieve revenue targets by applying modern sales techniques and processes to efficiently manage sales opportunities through your funnel to a successful close
- As part of the sales team, you will contribute directly to the success and growth of the company
What you bring:
- 1 years of full-cycle sales experience in a hunting role
- You have a track record of success in effectively developing and managing both an inbound and outbound pipeline
- Demonstrable track record of above target performance, especially in a startup environment
- You are smart, self-motivated, organized, detail and process oriented
- As a true colleague you enjoy planning, executing, winning, and celebrating as a team
- You are a clear and direct communicator
- You have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with change
- Experience using sales tools such as Outreach, Salesforce or equivalent sales stacks is a plus

The salary range for this role is $108,375 - $127,500 OTE in Denver.
