What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charcuterie Cook position at Chef Daniel Boulud Restaurants?
The restaurant group of Chef Daniel Boulud is pleased to announce its search for a Charcuterie Cook to join our growing Charcuterie department. Arthur Dehaine our Chef Charcutier, is responsible for producing Pâtés, Rillettes, Sausages, Smoked Items, and many other high-end products for Daniel Boulud’s Restaurants across Manhattan. Requirements for this position are as follows:
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in Hot-Line experience and Basic Butchering skills to secure this position. Candidates are not required to have a deep understanding of Charcuterie production to start, but are required to have a desire in learning the trade. This is a full-time position, and Candidates will be responsible to maintain a clean work area, and maintain health and sanitation standards.
They must have the ability to read and follow menus and recipes, complete basic mathematical calculations, and possess strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment.
