Job Summary
Seeking a talented Bookkeeper and Administrative Manager to join our team. We are a small company growing rapidly. In this role, you will work closely with the owner and CEO to maintain order in the business. Produce accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, producing job costing reports, assisting with purchasing, inventory control, collections, payroll, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, extremely honest, trustworthy, proactive, a team player, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Prepare weekly job costing reports
- Assist with purchasing and preparing weekly AP reports
- Assist with collecting payments and preparing AR reports
- Analyze budgets and other financial information
- Run weekly payroll
- Track inventory
- Complete required tax forms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
