This is an exciting new program at Chegg – that involves growing relationships with leading companies to help our students get the skills they need to connect into the jobs they want.
Role: Sales Internship
We’re looking for a highly motivated sales intern to work with the Careers team.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll collaborate with our Careers employer team to present prospective customers with solutions that improve the way they find and hire talented students, and be hands-on in progressing these prospects through a real sales cycle so that you develop knowledge of the sales process from start to finish
- You’ll learn how to identify prospects in tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- You’ll take part in analyzing sales data in tools like Salesforce that are critical to driving business and sales pipeline growth, and to create recommendations and reports for our organization
- With the team’s support, you’ll research, build, launch and optimize a campaign to target successful prospects into the sales pipeline funnel
Requirements
- Are enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program relevant to business or sales, or have equivalent experience in enterprise sales
- Be legally allowed to work in the US (US citizen, green card, or F1 student visa holder)
- Pass a 30 min assessment of multiple-choice questions and written responses on communication and business relationship topics
- Have the ability to intern in Santa Clara, California
- Have the ability to work for a continuous 12 weeks in the summer
- Have the ability to work 40 hours per week
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work autonomously and use critical thinking
- Proven track record with high standards of professionalism
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside Chegg
- Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Enjoys analyzing numbers, coming up with conclusions, and making recommendations.
- Have a good sense of humor
