The role of the Sales Training Manager (STM) is to support the delivery of sales training in both classroom and the field. The STM will undergo a detailed training accreditation prior to being certified within the role. Once certified, the STM will deliver classroom training in their market on a bi-weekly basis. During classroom off-weeks, the STM will travel to local and national markets training MGCs including but not limited to assisting with: cold-calling, table-top events within the local community, conferences, etc.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Support roles within an aligned division both in classroom and in the field, including but not limited to:
- Role-based curriculum
- Course outlines, descriptions, and objectives
- Course invitations and scheduling
- Training courseware (e-learning modules, virtual training, live classroom, and experiential)
- Facilitator guides/instructions/workbooks
- Successful completion metrics
- Other materials as needed
- Incorporates feedback from SMEs, internal stakeholders, master facilitators and training specialists as needed
- Maintains training program quality and integrity by:
o Supporting the development of and adhering to minimum standards of learning excellence
o Providing coaching and mentoring to MGCs and Sales Support Teams
o Using and developing standard tools and templates
- Conducts training needs assessments where applicable
- Ensures alignment of training with our mission, values, and patient promise.
- Delivers training to local and divisionally aligned markets
- This position requires 40-50% of local and national travel
- Manages aspects of the LMS/website such as user records, pulling reports, loading, and testing courses
- Oversees multiple projects and may be responsible for mentoring or guiding others on the sales/operations teams
- Provides feedback to project participants or stakeholders and is responsible for suggesting different approaches
- Conducts training for sales and operations staff during their onboarding period and as refreshers are needed.
- Provides coaching when requested to help reinforce behaviors from training
- Other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
o Bachelor’s Degree in communications, adult learning theory, training/instructional design, or related field REQUIRED
o Minimum 3-5 years of experience in outside sales
o Minimum 3-5 years of experience in developing and facilitating sales training
o Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare operations training such as a clinic, hospital, or free-standing healthcare facility a plus
o Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing e-learning, virtual, classroom, and experiential learning courseware for technical and soft skills training in a corporate environment
o Experience conducting train the trainer sessions in a corporate environment
o Familiarity with competency-based learning
o Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) preferred
o Intermediate knowledge of SalesForce
o Understanding Myers Briggs or DiSC a plus
o Intermediate or Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite REQUIRED
o Intermediate or Advanced skills in PowerPoint REQUIRED
