Major/Key Accountabilities Assists NA HSE Director and Regional Operations Managers in leading a geographically dispersed team across all sites in North America. Supports HSE Team in the development and implementation of HSE performance strategies, compliance initiatives and other regulatory requirements as needed. Ensures Safety initiatives and compliance protocols are executed using thorough inspection, effective collaboration and coaching. Recommends new initiatives or process modifications that will improve safety practices throughout the business. Excellent ability to spot hazardous conditions along with gaps in safety practices and procedures across a wide range of disciplines. Ability to work independently, prioritizing workload effectively and proactively. Delivers support through partnership with HSE and site leadership teams. Influences and assists in building safety awareness and discipline across all sites in N. America. Flexible, methodical, highly motivated team player; able to learn and assimilate new information and maintain confidentiality; willingness to travel across any (US/Canadian) sites within the group.
