Responsible for overseeing assignments of workload, appearance and maintenance of the property, inspecting of facility and grounds and performing routine cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
High school education; or general education degree (GED).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
An additional three years related experience is required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have knowledge of building and grounds maintenance. Must be able to operate materials handling equipment.

Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Responsibilities:
Routine duties shall include providing health care services to individuals eligible for services in accordance with the self-governance compact and funding agreement between the Cherokee Nation and United States executed under the authority of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. Coordinates and prioritizes the workload of duties and schedules subordinates to accomplish desired tasks. Oversees the appearance and cleanliness of the properties inside and out. Prepares and submits all necessary reports. Maintains the security of the building by ensuring that all entrances are locked at the end of the shift. Maintains cleanliness of floors by sweeping, mopping, waxing and/or vacuuming. Maintains cleanliness of bathrooms by scouring and sanitizing fixtures. Replenishes bathroom supplies and other expendable items. Collects and disposes of trash from receptacles on a daily basis. Maintains orderliness of supply room by placing articles in assigned areas. Inspects and disposes of litter from grounds. Informs supervisor of supply room by placing articles in assigned areas. Inspects and disposes of litter from grounds. Informs supervisor of supply shortages and picks up supplies as instructed. Routinely inspects structure for needed repairs and reports any findings to supervisor. Handles and/or disposes of Bio-hazardous wastes or materials in accordance with infection control policies/practices. Other duties may be assigned.
