What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing and Transportation Coordinator position at Cherry Republic?
Cherry Republic of Glen Arbor is seeking a Housing & Transportation Coordinator who is responsible for working within the Housing sub department of Human Resources, under the director of the HR Director. Serving as a front-line communicator for tenants living in Cherry Republic employee housing, we are interested in someone with a solid driving record and a CDL license.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinate necessary transportation for employee housing, primarily J-1 International Students
- Ensure that daily operations run smoothly at Trumbull, Maple City and Leelanau School.
- Provide communication and feedback to the Housing Supervisor regarding activities and needs of housing tenants.
- Oversight of House Captains.
- Be available tolead, coach, and resolve all housing issues.
- Troubleshoot and solve various housing needs, or when to escalate to a higher level.
- Collaborate with department managers on the organization of employee Enrichment Days and the transportation thereof.
- Provide housing support through the coordination and movement of furniture, appliances, etc.
- Perform regular housing inspections and report back
- Assist with the coordination of maintenance/repairs
- During peak seasons support Public House operations and/or Distributions Centers
- Assist with scheduling winterization and other housing updates during times when houses are vacant.
Necessary Skills:
- Valid Driver’s License, Chauffeur's License preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
