What are the responsibilities and job description for the EndPoint Engineer position at Chevo Consulting?
Chevo is currently hiring several different levels of EndPoint Engineers to join our expanding Chevo team. These positions will provide the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s day to day operations of the federal networks and software systems, and to become a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will have experience providing logistical support for asset delivery and shipments. The positions are within a hybrid work environment, with the client site located in the Washington DC metro area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform analysis, development, implementation and lifecycle maintenance of software and hardware management systems
· Ensure optimized processes and tools to deliver automated functionality for image deployments, software deployments, hardware updates, and user profile management
· Ensure version and patch compliance for the environment
· Follow standard operating procedures and support processes in the troubleshooting and remediation of issues
· Manage and maintain inventory of assets.
· Provide logistical support for asset delivery and shipments.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field
· At least five to ten (5-10 ) years of experience providing end point administration of federal systems.
· Ability to pass client security clearance requirements
Desired Qualifications:
· Prior experience supporting IRS IT programs
· Active IRS High Risk MBI clearance is a plus
