What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrubber Operator position at Chewy?
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is hiring Sweeper Scrubber Drivers for our fulfillment center in Salisbury, NC with wages up to $15.00/hr with opportunity for increases at 3, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, and 48 months!!!
What you'll do:
- Perform Sweeper Scrubber upkeep and driving; End user service of the sweeper scrubber, fuel tank changes, sweeper tank and bin cleaning, operation of the sweeper scrubber, etc.
- Ensure safe operation of the sweeper scrubber in and around all stationary objects and other Chewy personnel and PIT equipment.
- Complete and maintain sweeper scrubber service and run time documentation.
- Utilize various hand tools both powered and non-powered to fulfill service responsibilities.
- Assist with other UT tasks as needed.
- Communicate needs or opportunities to TM’s, Ops Leadership, Maintenance Leadership and Maintenance Technicians.
What you'll need:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to stand/walk/sit for up to 10-12 hours, each shift has two 30 minute breaks
- Willing to be trained on PIT equipment (Powered Industrial Vehicles) i.e. Sweeper Scrubber, Order Picker, High Reach, Movexx, Pallet Jack, Walkie Rider, etc.
- Flexibility for overtime opportunities
