Work Location: CPLC Parenting AZ Flagstaff, AZ
Primary Functions
This position will provide leadership and supervision to the programs under the Parenting Arizona Flagstaff Office. The Program Manager will provide support, direction, and direct supervision to the staff under the FTF Coconino Home Visitation, Parents Commission, and various programs in Coconino County. The Program Supervisor will ensure that contract deliverables are met and manage the budget for all programs under the Coconino office. The Program Supervisor will provide reflective supervision to all staff under the Coconino office. The Program Supervisor will ensure that all reporting for contracts gets completed and submitted on time on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Minimum Qualifications
BA degree in Social Work or related field with three years of experience in the social services field which demonstrates an ability to perform the tasks required for the position; or AA degree in any field with five years of experience in the social services field which demonstrates an ability to perform the tasks required for the position
* Minimum two years of experience in supervising and managing staff, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments
* Supervised experience working with parents and children
* 2 years of experience working with at-risk, moderate at-risk, and high-risk families, knowledge of child development and parent-child interaction
* Coordination and event planning, especially management of multiple simultaneous events
* Strong project coordination skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands effectively
* Experience in working independently and delivery of in-home/community-based services.
* Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment, mental health, and the dynamics of child abuse and neglect
* Knowledge and experience in the strength-based and family-centered provision of primary prevention services
* Capable of working with diverse cultural populations including tribal communities.
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
