Overview:
This role serves as the Traceability Product Lead on the Supply Chain Partner Systems team and will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Chick-fil-A's product traceability system, utilizing GS1 standards. This role will seek to increase Chick-fil-A's ability to monitor and deliver safe products throughout our supply chain and, ultimately, to our restaurants. This role will interact primarily with Chick-fil-A suppliers, distributors, and the Supplier Quality and Safety (SQS) team. The ideal candidate is expected to support the growth of traceability in the Supply Chain department and throughout the organization, while managing continuous improvement in an efficient and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide key design insights, gather business requirements, and represent the needs of end users to bolster the Product Owner’s road mapping capabilities
- Continuously improve the Chick-fil-A traceability system including business processes, reporting capabilities, recall tracking, and integrations
- Evaluate external partner performance and adherence to CFA Traceability standards and define corrective actions as needed
- Coordinate new supplier and distributor on-boarding processes across program with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate new product on-boarding processes across program with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain the application backlog (new features and bug fixes) to continuously optimize the application, user experience, driving higher adoption and user and stakeholder satisfaction
- Manage system configurations (ex. user permissions, master data, release reviews, etc.)
- Drive the development of long-term traceability data quality validations in partnership with Partner Data Services
- Lead major Traceability product development or project phases
- Serve as point of escalation and support for traceability issues or concerns with users, suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Supply Chain, IT, Specialty Consultants, and Food Safety to facilitate the best product and user experience possible
- Comprehensive knowledge of traceability GS1 US standards including inventory management, master data management, and barcoding
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Industrial Engineering
- Possess strong analytical skills, be assertive, and demonstrate initiative when investigating issues
- Display strong oral and written communications skills in both technical and non-technical situations
- Partner logically and effectively with department leadership and staff, and external parties
- Process thinker who understands inputs, processes, and outputs
- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, delegate appropriately, and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.

- Experience using agile project methodology
- Experience with data visualization tools (ex. Tableau)
- Previous systems implementation experience leading multiple initiatives through the development lifecycle
- Experience implementing or supporting FoodLogiQ software
- Experience as scrum master or product owner
