POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position provides vision, leadership, and direction to the Financial Planning and Analysis team responsible for the company's annual operating plan, corporate planning data and systems, ongoing forecasts of business performance, management reporting of business and results, and other projects, reports, and initiatives. This position also plays a key role in the Strategic Planning and Long-Range Planning process.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the corporate operating and capital budgeting process in coordination with brands and department head leaders.
- Key contributor in collaborating and leading the company's strategic planning and long-range planning process, including financial modeling and on-going risk assessment.
- Is responsible for on-going evaluation, measurement, and analysis of company's strategic initiatives.
- Responsible for the weekly and monthly forecasting process as well as streamline the ability to efficiently update forecast results in order to provide timely and accurate information to senior management.
- Provides support to the investor relations function by providing business insights, financial results, investor presentations, and competitive analysis and information.
- Responsible for administration and end to end solutions of the company's core financial planning systems.
- Provides analysis and insight to the real estate/facilities team to aid in the development and execution of store reinvestment and rationalization programs.
- Responsible for post audit analysis and review of capital expenditure projects to ensure benefits and costs were as expected.
- Develops and enhances monthly senior management reporting to aid in decision making.
- Accommodates various ad hoc requests from senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree in Finance from an accredited institution required; MBA preferred
- 10 years' experience in financial modeling including planning, budgeting and forecasting in the retail industry with a public company with proven track record
- Ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment
- Ability in dealing with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent in Microsoft office suite
- Ambitious, assertive, confident and motivated to achieve results
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
