Position Overview

The Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) Specialist - Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB) is responsible for providing functional support related to the software systems utilized by the Human Resources and Talent Development office. The incumbent will be a subject matter expert on the Oracle Advanced Benefits module and associated processes.  The HRMS Specialist-OAB will participate in team projects to operate and enhance system functionality and business processes. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed in relation to the position. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate:

  • Acts as the initial point of contact for issues related to OAB; performs regular duties such as monitoring processes, troubleshooting system errors, resolving data issues, and managing interfaces
  • Participates in system enhancements, patches, and upgrades to develop OAB to further meet business needs.
  • Documents business requirements and standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Collaborates with Employee Benefits (EB) team members, vendors/providers, and information technology teams.
  • Provides end user assistance related to OAB technology tools and business processes; works closely with cross functional teams such as Payroll, Budget, and EB to ensure accuracy and successful delivery of work product.
  • Provides prompt and courteous customer support; works with team members about project statuses and the resolution of system issues; performs appropriate follow up ensure progress on work items.
  • Prepares recurring reports; develops automations; and performs ad hoc analysis.

 

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

 

Experience

  • Three years of experience in system testing, development, and design

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of management information systems; standard office practices and procedures; standard word processing and spreadsheet software; as well as the safekeeping and storage of confidential files
  • Demonstrated understanding of the open enrollment process, life events and triggers and the participation process preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently; to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively; to communicate effectively; to work cooperatively with others; to work under pressure and/or with frequent interruptions
  • Demonstrated ability to complete complex calculations, apply practices and regulations, and create reports
  • Has ability to implement technology solutions and work with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience with OAB for Oracle EBS 12.x and OAB and CWB Fast Formulas preferred

FLSA Status: Exempt

Hiring Range: $82,622-$136,120

Months/Days/Hours: 12 Months/ 248 Days/ 8 Hours
