What you’ll do:
Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, cutting meat, or preparing sauces).
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of recipes, ingredients, allergens, and food presentation.
Follows chef and manager’s instructions, communicates with and supports co-workers while being a team player.
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station and the kitchen.
Labels and stores all products following FIFO and DOH standards.
Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant and DOH standards included but not limited to washing dishes and taking out trash.
Exhibits the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently.
Complies with DOH and company sanitation standards.

What you’ve done and enjoy doing:
Previous culinary experience preferred
Experience as a prep and/or line cook preferred
Passion for the company’s mission, positioning, and brand
Excellent attention to detail
Adaptable startup mindset
Enjoys collaborating with a team
Team player and a “nothing too small task” mentality
Needs to be based in the Los Angeles area
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
Must be able to work and remain focused in an ever-changing environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days and evenings.
This is a 6-Month Contract role with potential to extend.
Needs to be based in Los Angeles.
