In partnership with sales leaders, marketing, medical, market access and PRB (Promotional Regulatory Board), the Manager of Training will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training solutions supporting Amryt Commercial Sales teams exceed their assigned sales revenue and key brand performance goals. This role will be accountable for coordinating and delivering comprehensive training solutions for new hire training, pre-launch, launch, post launch and ad-hoc initiatives.
Develop, design and implement comprehensive commercial training across all rare product lines/assets (50%)
* Assist in creating continuous education and training programs related to sales-skills enhancement and leadership development (25%)
* LMS (learning management system) administration including content management and user assignment (15%)
* Organize and standardize sales training materials; maintain inventory of training materials; coordinate with functional colleague within the broader Amryt Group (10%)
A minimum of 3-5 years of pharmaceutical sales training experience, with significant experience in Rare Diseases.
* Working knowledge/experience in Adult Learning Principles, ADDIE and/or SAM
* Prior experience in working with external vendors/consultants.
* Proven experience in sales training, either as a dedicated commercial trainer, field trainer or through experiences as a pharmaceutical sales rep/sales manager where training was integral with the role.
* Proven understanding of selling skills and disease state knowledge; able to quickly learn new disease states and products.
* Strong presentation/facilitation skills with an ability to conduct live/virtual classroom training programs for employees * Excellent facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel (Articulate Storyline and/or Captivate skills preferred)
* Able to function professionally and constructively in both individual and team-oriented projects with a high level of organizational skills
* Able to be fully or partially office based (Boston, MA)
* Able and willing to travel as required (domestically and internationally) including some evening, weekend and overnight travel
* Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
* A BS/BA degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Business or Education
