We are looking to add a full-time grant writing professional with experience in corporate and foundation grants and federal, state, and municipal funding requests. We work independently, yet in a collaborative fashion to accomplish the most positive and inspiring results for the organization.This position is available for a remote/hybrid work schedule; however, applicants will need to reside in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area in order to attend occasional meetings and events. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsible for writing and submitting grant proposals/reports for corporate, foundation, tribal, municipal, state, and federal applications.Researches and identifies competitive funding opportunities for existing and new servicesCollects, analyzes, and reports data on the performance of program activities that are funded by public and private sourcesReviews proposal projects and initiatives and develops appropriate funding strategiesMaintains grant documents and records with responsibility to file into grant management softwareCollaborates with community organizations, city officials, nonprofit agencies and other institutions as necessary as part of proposal-writing processRepresents the organization at government, business, and community meetings as necessaryREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degreeDemonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has the ability to meet strict deadlinesHighly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology in performing job dutiesAbility to adapt to changing and multiple prioritiesAbility to analyze and utilize program data, statistical reports, budgets, and financial documents in proposal writingMust hold or be willing to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance CardThe ideal candidate will also possess:1 years of defined experience in writing corporate and foundation proposals as well as applications to city, state, and federal funding opportunities1 years of experience in nonprofit sector, with emphasis on development and donor strategySignificant understanding of nonprofit Human Services field, with emphasis on Child WelfareExperience with Donor Perfect or other donor/grant management software
