POSITION SUMMARY:
The Communications & Recruitment Director will seek opportunities to advance the mission of the organization by conducting speaking engagements, recruitment events, and media campaigns to recruit volunteers and champions. The Director will help recruit, screen, and train community volunteers. This person is also responsible for implementation of the marketing and community awareness campaigns of the agency. Additional duties require the Communications and Recruitment Director to participate in activities that advance the agency and the mission of its programs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of a college degree; some college and/or the equivalent in professional level work.
2. Strong administrative, public relations, organizational and computer skills
3. Experience with volunteers, or in volunteer organizations preferred
4. Communications experience is required
5. Knowledge and understanding of issues and dynamics within families in crisis relating to child abuse and neglect preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
