Our Disability Support Services division has immediate full time openings for Residential Managers to join our diverse and enthusiastic team of dedicated professionals.

Compensation/Schedule:

• $50,000 per year –Monday through Friday and on-call responsibilities and additional compensation for direct care shifts covered (supervisory approval required)

The Residential Manager will:

Establish a therapeutic milieu and deliver effective services through positive role-modeling and professionalism. The Residential Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functioning, supervision and management of a group home that provides compassionate, respectful, professional care and supervision to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Residential Manager will ensure that each direct support professional implements a person-centered philosophy through identification and provision of support services to each individual living in the home, serve as the Individual Service Plan coordinator for each resident, serve as the program liaison for parents and support coordinators and ensures that the group home is in compliance with DDD regulations and agency standards. Residential Managers must provide leadership and actively participate in all program meetings and model a strong work ethic for all direct support professionals, taking an active role in training and skill building. Must ensure that all required reports and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely basis.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with three years’ experience working with individuals who are behaviorally challenging.
• Preferred: BA degree in Social Services or related field, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and previous supervisory experience.
• Valid drivers’ license in the state of NJ and good driving history.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Employee must successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training.
• Must cooperate with the licensee, Department of Human Services (DHS) staff, Department of Children and Families (DCF) staff and any and all state representatives in any inspection or investigation.
