ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
As a Behavioral Consultant, you will perform a variety of direct care and supervisory duties, including
· Perform client assessments, observe the client to identify target behaviors
· Through collaboration with clients (ages 2-21), their families, and other service providers, you will create the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) identifying and highlighting child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths as well as areas in which the individual needs improvement.
· Participate in supervision with your Clinical Director for development and to discuss clinical updates and recommendations.
· Provide consultation, observation, treatment plan development, data collection, and analysis specific to identified target behaviors.
· Provision of this service may include preference assessments, reinforcement, extinction, time-out strategies, or other rehabilitative activities as prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and referenced in the client’s Individual Treatment Plan.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Ability to run PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances and at least 1 of the following:
- PA Behavior Specialist license
- Certified as BCBA or other graduate level certification in Behavior Analysis
- Graduate degree in ABA
- Minimum of 1 yr of FT experience providing mental health direct services to kids/youth/young adults and Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or Counseling
- Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or Counseling.
