About the Job
As part of the multidisciplinary team, this registered nurse is responsible for the care of patients, ranging from infants to adults, with congenital heart defects.
Shift: Full-time; Night shift. Varying nights, including weekend and holiday requirements.
Highlighted Responsibilities
· Care of patients from newborn to Adults with Congenital or Acquired Heart Disease
· Recognize/interpret cardiac rhythms
· Management of Chest Tubes, Feeding Tubes, Temporary Pacing Wires, High Flow Oxygen, Nasal Cannulas, Tracheostomies with Trach Collar or Ventilators, Central Lines, IV Medications
· Assessing and maintaining appropriate pain control in post-operative patients
· Cardiology Unit admits patients from CICU, Post Cath Procedures, PACU, ED, Clinic, Home, and Outside Facilities

Qualifications
Experience: 2 years’ RN experience
Education: BSN
License: TX RN License
Certification: BLS
