What You’ll Do

  • Lead programs ranging from multi-sector, community-based, population health focused QI programs to children’s hospital-based clinical quality improvement efforts targeting key patient outcomes.
  • Design program interventions, curricula and data strategy in partnership with expert workgroups and key stakeholders.
  • Leverage data sets, analyses, and reports to drive improvement and contribute to scientific manuscripts and professional presentations highlighting key findings.
  • Coach and train participants to implement QI strategies designed to improve pediatric outcomes.
  • Design and lead virtual and in-person workshop sessions.

Required Experience:


What You’ll Bring to CHA

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s clinical, public health, social work, psychology (or similar) degree, preferably experience in the pediatric setting, and 7 years’ experience
  • Experience in leveraging quality improvement techniques and tools in a variety of settings (public health, clinical and community)
  • Clinical expertise in pediatrics
  • An eye for detail and strong project management skills; an ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • Expert-level knowledge of quality improvement science, experience leading multi-sector community-based programs, and expert presentation and facilitation skills

This position is based in our Washington DC office. We leverage a hybrid working model with three set days per week in the office.

Vaccinations

CHA requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated prior to the first day of employment. Fully vaccinated is defined as having received two Pfizer or Moderna vaccinations or one Johnson & Johnson vaccination, in addition to completion of a two-week period after the final vaccination.
