Overview

Children’s Mercy (CM) Kansas City in partnership with Mercy Health Springfield is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist to serve our pediatric population at our multispecialty practice in Springfield, Missouri. The Division of Allergy, Immunology, Pulmonary, and Sleep Medicine at Children’s Mercy Kansas City has been built upon a foundation emphasizing multi-disciplinary team models for the care of children who have a wide variety of acute and chronic respiratory and sleep disorders.  Our Primary mission is to provide comprehensive medical and psychosocial care to our patients and their families.  A culture of academic achievement and scholarship is fostered within the Division and all faculty members are encouraged to pursue scholarly activities. The division is dedicated to educational excellence for patients and families, allied health care providers, and our community.

 

Children’s Mercy Kansas City is an independent, non-profit, 390-bed pediatric health system, providing over half a million patient encounters each year for children from across the country. Children’s Mercy is ranked by U.S. News & World Report in nine specialties. We have received Magnet® recognition five times for excellence in nursing services. In affiliation with the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the University of Kansas, our faculty of nearly 800 pediatric specialists and researchers are actively involved in clinical care, pediatric research and educating the next generation of pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists.
