Chip City began in Astoria, Queens opening their first bakery in July 2017. Chip City created a signature 5.5-ounce cookie that is served warm making it a chewy & gooey experience. It was a hit with the customers, and they formed lines daily at the Astoria bakery to purchase the cookies. Later sharing their love of the unique Chip City cookie experience on social media making the company go viral. Chip City now offers over 30 unique cookie creations with a daily rotating menu. It has since expanded to a total of 10 bakeries throughout NYC with plans to open additional bakeries by end of 2022.
What job are we baking:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our NEW Corporate Office in College Point – Queens, NY! The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing leader with a proven record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies for a young and fun brand. This role reports to the Co-owners, partners with our Digital Marketing Manager, and in-house Graphic Designer, and collaborates with several business partners. This is a full-time in office position. Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Your bakery duties:
· Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales and build brand awareness
· Oversees all aspects of marketing including campaigns, promotions, creative, design, social media, events, public relations, copywriting, SEO, and more
· Evaluate data analytics and leverage results to better forecast and develop strategies
· Prepare and present accurate reports on overall marketing campaigns performance
- Remain up to date with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
· Manage company providers, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
Your main ingredients:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
· 3-5 years’ progressive experience in marketing or advertising
· Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite and web analytics
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience working with a start-up team undergoing rapid growth
