What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Chipton Ross Inc.?
12 month contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Responsible and accountable for safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping (5S), scrap and delivery. Work with minimum supervision and predict, identify, and resolve problems
o Perform assembly process for configured devices based on guidance from standard work instructions.
o Perform transactions at the time of inventory movement to ensure accurate inventory management.
o Effectively communicate within own team and to other teams within the site.
o Act with urgency to resolve operations issues or raise problems to appropriate level to ensure timely resolution.
o Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and model safe behaviour. Sustain exemplary performance in attitude, attendance, and teamwork.
o Perform any additional duties and complete ongoing training as required
o Provide thoughtful feedback and innovative ideas in support of daily management and 5S activities
o Safely operate production tools and material handling equipment as needed.
o Strive to reach production goals each day.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Problem resolution and communication skills
o Attention to detail is critical
o Proven record of success in a goal-driven environment
o Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
o Customer centric mentality, the customer being the lines that need the material
o Needs to be able to work semi-independently
o Knowledge and understanding of 5S principles and practices
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
o Experience in a regulated industry preferred (ISO, FDA)
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree

Full-Time - 1st Shift
