Summary
The draftsman position is ideal for an individual who is looking to implement their drafting and design abilities within a growing food and beverage company.
Responsibilities
Use AutoCAD to accurately and proficiently draw engineering concepts and design for construction and implementation
As build machinery and plant layouts to validate designs
Design and print 3D parts
Assist in the creation and updating of Process Flow Diagrams and P&ID’s
Provide clear and concise drawings and documentation to machine shop, fabrication, installation, and electrical crews and can understand, interpret, and communicate their intent.
Assist in maintaining and updated the Chobani drawing vault.
Assist in production of Safety, User, and Parts references/manuals
Work hands on in all processing facilities, including both hot and cold environments.
Other various duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma
3 Years of Professional experience using AutoCAD or Inventor and Autodesk Vault
Proficient in AutoCAD version 2018 or higher
Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with minimal supervision
Ability to multi-task and set priorities according to changing requirements
Ability to understand fabrication techniques and limitations, and design to accommodate maximum fabrication efficiency
Have good organizational, mathematical, and computer data entry skills
Strong reasoning ability, spatial skills and industry knowledge
