What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Technician (Grade 3) position at Chobani?
Summary
We are looking for Environmental Technician who will join the Chobani family in this fascinating brand new facility in Twin Falls, Idaho. You will be responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a particular building.

Responsibilities
- Will be required to clean, sanitize and inspect our processing areas in compliance with food safety regulations and audit standards
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Must be able to work with multiple chemicals
- Must be able to read and understand SOPs and OPLs
- Operate buffer, floor scrubbers, foamer and high pressure hose
- Must be able to document all sanitation duties
- Responsible for Inspection (visual) of their own work
- Must be willing to work in different environment wet/dry
Requirements
- HS Diploma – GED and 1 year experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning solutions and janitorial equipment preferred
- Able to bend, stoop and reach
- Work with and around chemical cleaning compounds
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to approximately 35 lbs
- Operate powered equipment normally found in sanitation operations
- Organize work and follow cleaning schedules
- Team player a must
- Follow GMP and Safety guidelines

Compensation Range: $19.00 - $23.00, plus bonus.
