The list of responsibilities can be long but rewarding. You will be a key part of ensuring client payments are received, financial transactions are entered in our internal databases and accounting software, reports are accurate, and bills are paid. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

You will be managing a lot of important and personal information, so maintaining confidentiality will be a big part of the job.
Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele
Assist the accounting department by providing routine accounting and administrative support, by effectively using computers and various software applications to complete daily tasks, including database management and data entry
Daily processing and reconciliation of checks, wires and ACH payments, credit cards and payments
Utilize Quick Books and Excel to complete tasks including AR/AP entries
Order office supplies and keep inventory
Perform other duties, as assigned
A genuine interest in business and finance
High school diploma or GED; college degree in accounting is preferred (currently enrolled is fine)
QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar software experience
One to two years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting
Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
Computer literacy, including high functioning ability with Microsoft Office and Excel
High level of organization, time management, and ability to prioritize
Ability to work independently as well as on a team
An honest and discreet attitude when dealing with company accounts
