Position Summary:

Responsible for all phases of human resources within a national Fundraising company that services schools and nonprofit organizations.
This position provides support and guidance to senior management, sales team, production, warehouse, CDL drivers, NON-CDL drivers, and office staff with a focus on consistent employment practices of the company and all state and federal regulations.
Job Duties:
- Develop and administer human resource plans and procedures for company personnel.
- Helped lead recruiting team with advertising jobs, internal postings, application screening, and coordination of interviewing along with completion of the necessary paperwork for new hires.
- Maintain all personnel files.
- Maintained training records and all necessary new employee paperwork.
- Deliver ongoing training to company personnel including the management team.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures.
- Work with managers on training and coaching team members.
- Prepare HR-related employee communications.
- Help lead safety policies and procedures for a company making sure OSHA compliance.
- Timely initial ongoing verification of licenses including background, driving records, professional, and other designated regulations.
- Help maintain DOT files for drivers.
- Help prepare employment contracts for the sales team.
- Work with managers to resolve and prevent employee relations issues by coaching and training.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or related field required.
- 2 years of previous experience in Human Resource management.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, training, compensation benefits, and developing and maintaining a safety culture.
- Must be proficient in maintaining a human resource information system.
