Your Career as a Tax Accountant- Hybrid

As a Tax Accountant, you will work with team members to learn, develop, and utilize your skillset to organize and process important financial data. You will support Tax Associates in their learning and project work. Your success is our client’s success; we value your input, skillset, career aspirations, and you.
Responsibilities as a Tax Accountant
- Prepare Partnership, S-corporation, and C-corporation tax returns, including multi-state filings
- Prepare Individual and Trust tax returns
- Interact directly with clients and other Team Members to develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies considering the entire client relationship
- Support other Tax Associates
- Stay abreast of current tax law and communicate opportunities to Team Members
- Make personal development a priority, seeking feedback and opportunities to grow
- Dedicate necessary effort to complete assignments accurately and on time
Experience
- 1 years of relevant experience to the listed responsibilities (All levels of Tax Accountants are encouraged to apply.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting
- Ability to work independently
- Strong understanding of income tax law; including knowledge of individual, fiduciary, and business entity tax return fundamentals
- CPA eligibility
- Accounting background
- Proficiency with ProSystem Fx Tax and Fixed Asset programs is ideal
