We are searching for a Product Manager has the skills and/or has the experience of the following:
Guide technology assessments done by ARC team or OEM partner
Analyze the competitive landscape and maintain a competitive database
Maintain the product portfolio roadmap
Proven product related experience, customer focus track record, market strategy
Strong knowledge/experience with direct view displays (LED, flat panels).
Processing and infrastructure associated with control rooms an added asset.
Expertise, knowledge, passion for solutions including information / data flow in complex display environments
Familiarity with some/all key market segments including automotive, corporate, retail, government, utilities, energy. Experience in applications such as visualization, simulation, control rooms including command and control, security an added benefit
EDUCATION: Optimum formal education required to perform this function.
University
Major:
Bachelor’s degree in technical or business domain
Postgraduate
Major:
MBA preferred
EXPERIENCE: Level of experience required to perform this job at a fully competent level.
Experience in LED display applications, markets and technology
5 years-experience as product manager or equivalent experience, solutions architect or related
Related:
3-10 years of Christie related product experience in either a service or engineering function
Customer interactions and customer facing experience
Working with external ODM suppliers an asset
Working with service groups and sales an asset
Proven understanding of display technologies and their application in particular for large scale events, live events and other major professional A/V productions
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
Ability to translate and communicate technical concept to a non-technical audience and market needs into clear and concise technical specifications and user needs into clear and concise user stories
Business skills and judgment - ability to assess business and technology trends
Proven background and practical experience in developing, managing and delivering products/projects including the ability to create URD (User requirement documents), perform competitive analysis, feature/function prioritization and assessment
Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication skills
Experience working with OEM/ODM suppliers is an added benefit
To work with Christie in-house development teams via a Program Manager or Product Manager
Familiarity with common communication software applications (e.g. MS Office)
Leadership - willingness and ability to initiate and drive activities and to work collaboratively
Self-starter and self-sufficiency key; must be able to drive a project from conceptual stage to product plan with minimal input and supervision
Deep expertise in A/V systems
