Job Description
- Dry honing components
- Blowing out internal cavities of parts with air
- Clean tanks and screen per Chromalloy specifications
- Masking part surfaces using tape, wax, etc
- Operate plating tanks and XRF machine
- Follow and utilize Lean Manufacturing principles
- Must accurately maintain/document log books
- Correctly document travelers after operations have been performed
- Maintain, implement and improve 5-S Principles
- Sustain production standards and quality
- Perform general departmental housekeeping
- Regular attendance and punctuality is required
- Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
- Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements
- Adheres to all Company safety standards and requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret blueprints and equipment manuals
- Ability to read, interpret and understand work in-process documents
- Manual dexterity with good vision required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Lean skills continually drives process improvements
- Team building skills
- Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous light and/or medium industrial experience
- Basic computer knowledge
