Summary:
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you are expected to have advanced knowledge in the responsibilities listed below, gained through both education and extensive work experience. You are considered the subject matter expert for your discipline and you develop solutions to issues independently and present risks to leadership. You can be trusted to work independently with very limited supervision, and can help define best practices and strategy for your areas of responsibility. You can train lower level professionals, and can effectively coach others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Risk Assessments for Regulatory Compliance for Third Party/Vendor Risk
- Risk Assessments for Information Security Control Compliance for Third Party/Vendor Risk
- Contract Negotiation for Information Security Agreements with Third Parties
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, business partners, customers, etc.
- Monitor Compliance Technologies
- Governance of Policies and Standards
- Develop and maintain reporting and robust metrics to measure the progress of the Third Party risk program and identify trends pertaining to the environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
- Experience:
- Strong Research and Analytical Skills
- Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITECH, PCI, SOX)
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Preferred Experience:
- Contract Negotiation Experience
- Common Knowledge of Industry Standard Audit Methodologies
- Common Knowledge of Industry Standard Security Practices
- Computer Strategic Skills Required:
- Innovation, Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively to identify and solve problem

Salary : $65,600 - $83,100
