Administrative Director
Responsibilities include:
- Administration and operations Laboratory and Outreach
- Operating budgets of the Clinical Laboratory
- Staffing the Clinical Laboratory
- Regulatory compliance (i.e., Joint Commission, NYSDOH)
- Ryan Building Draw Station
- Quality Management System (QMS)
- Monitoring and reporting on quality/performance improvement
- Specimen transport training (Safety-Pak)
- Committee member: stroke, infection control, critical, medication, NICU, Transfusion, P&T, Emergency Room (ER), and Safety Committee
- Develop and Support Outreach Accounts
- Support Stewart Ave offsite Behavioral Health phlebotomy services
- Coordinating student training (i.e., Nassau Community College, Hunter College (MT training),
Education:
- Bachelor of Science; MT (ASCP) MS preferred
Experience/Skills
- 10 years of supervisory experience; experience working in a union environment a plus!
- Must have the ability to manage many priorities and work under stressful conditions
Salary : $133,000 - $169,000
