Position Summary
As a part of the Finance team, the financial professional will work closely with various finance units, including underwriting, reinsurance, and actuarial departments, on a wide variety of projects and processes. In this role, you will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel, including other financial analysts, divisional leadership, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance. Primary responsibility relates to financial analysis; the review of data and recommendation course of action.
Responsibilities
- Assess the adequacy and quality of collateral to cover potential claims and liabilities of former Chubb Global Casualty accounts,
- Provide recommendations and reports to management regarding the sufficiency of the collateral reserves and potential risks associated with runoff policies,
- Collaborate with offshore team members to review their analyses and approve their work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards,
- Evaluate and enhance existing collateral review tools to streamline analysis, improve efficiency and ensure accurate assessment of collateral adequacy,
- Support day to day functions in Chubb Global Casualty,
- Perform ad hoc analysis of accounting transactions, operational performance and balance sheet accounts,
- Complete technical CAP training to deepen your skill level within your chosen discipline; and an understanding of our broader industry,
- As part of the Chubb Associates program complete challenging assignments and contribute to the results of a team.
