Plan, direct and coordinate marketing and relation development of select clients.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of the company’s products and services with select clients.
- Collaborate directly with select clients and divisional staff to strengthen relationships and grow market share.
- Assist in establishing marketing goals for select client segments.
- Assists Division Manager’s and Division Marketing Managers in training division-marketing personnel in marketing techniques.
- Works with IT, Divisions and Marketplace to evaluate and enhance overall company technology platform and tools.
- Coordinate work assignments, communication and service levels to assure that large multi-divisional clients experience consistent service levels across all divisions.
- Assists with all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree required with a minimum of 4 years of crop sales, marketing, or service related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of all insurance products offered by the company.
- Knowledge of marketing methodologies and techniques.
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry, including a broad understanding of the major crops produced in the US; general knowledge of agricultural issues.
- Ability to positively direct the work of others, including the ability to make and communicate assignments, resolve issues affecting employees or agents.
- Ability to use insurance industry and company terminology.
- Ability to effectively communicate and maintain positive business relationships with company personnel, outside resources, and customers.
- Ability to remain calm and professional.
- Ability to be organized and multitask.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to proofread and edit copy.
- Ability to work well with people in a team environment.

- Ability to operate all office equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required and travel overnight up to 40%. Travel will include both air and automobile.
