What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Member position at Chuck's Hot Chicken?
We are a fast paced Nashville style chicken restaurant recently opened in O’Fallon. Employees will enjoy brand new equipment, all the tools needed to perform at a high level, and management that doesn’t suck. You heard me right. As an employee you’ll have the opportunity to work side by side with the owners and play a critical role in establishing successful practices that will shape the future of this restaurant. No managers scrolling through social media while they order you to do their job for them. No broken equipment that the bosses refuse to replace while you struggle to make it work. No burned out coworkers that play the system and do the bare minimum to skate by.
Daily tasks are similar to what you would expect from a quick casual restaurant including: preparing and pre-portioning food for the day, putting away and rotating stock, hand breading and cooking the best chicken O’Fallon has to offer, packaging orders to specifications, taking orders from remarkably happy customers, setting up and breaking down various stations, as well as the standard dishes & cleaning of the restaurant.
It’s important to know we are well established as this is our second location, with more to come. Opportunities for advancement are plentiful as we almost always promote from within. We take a lot of pride in what we’ve created and as such we expect employees to take the same pride in their performance. Other expectations or requirements include:
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work at least two of the three days from Friday through Sunday
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Accountability and willingness to learn
- A sense of urgency and quickness
- Kitchen experience is a bonus
