What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastor of Student Ministries position at Church Staffing?
Job Description :
We are looking for a part-time youth pastor who will hopefully become full-time at the end of 1 year of service. This person will work with our current youth pastor for that year and mentor under him.
Then, when he moves to a different role in the church, the part-time hours will be bumped up to full-time. Once it becomes full-time the salary range will a be total package of $- K per year.
This candidate will lead our 6- grade ministry and will also be partnering with our Children's pastor in an every other week mini youth meeting designed to transition 3-5th graders into youth ministry when they move into 6th grade.
Mandatory requirements will be to attend worship weekly, help plan and lead an every Sunday night youth meeting as well as assorted events for our youth, help lead our mini-youth meetings every other Thursday night and will eventually participate in all pastoral staff meetings and help implement a strategic ministry to the entire congregation and community.
We are looking for a person who feels a call to youth ministry and is looking to actively pursue their calling with education and practical experience.
