What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper (part-time) position at CI Solutions LLC?
We are a business cooperative consisting of 4 boutique businesses with symbiotic missions, values, and objectives. All the organizations share administrative, marketing, and IT/technology resources. The owners of the separate business units manage the vision, culture, and shared resources as a board. The organizations that share resources are:

Key Responsibilities
The Bookkeeper is responsible for client invoicing, processing client receipts and employee payroll, account management and debt collection, payment of expenses, bank reconciliations, and generation of accurate and timely financial statements
- Prepare invoices for all clients in accordance with the established billing cycle
- Review purchase orders and reconcile with invoices.
- Complete any required forms for vendors/creditors, and employees.
- Recording of expense and income activity in Quick Books
- Record customer payments and prepare the daily bank deposit.
- Process approved bills for payment, applying to the appropriate accounts.
- Prepare a monthly report on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Prepare and process the payroll.
- Monitor status of loans and accounts to ensure current payments.
- Comply with state and federal tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with an excellent knowledge of financial calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
- Understand and apply the concept of cost of goods sold and gross profit.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Able to multi-task, be organized and prioritized critical time-sensitive tasks, communicate and follow-up on tasks independently, maintain a continuous work schedule and work additional hours, occasionally if needed.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of all company records
- Experience in a retail environment is a plus
- QuickBooks: 1 year (Required)
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
