The Analyst – Strategic Finance is a dynamic role, assisting in both financial and commercial strategic projects around growth and profitability with direct influence on decision outcome.
The Analyst – Strategic Finance supports the process of pricing prospective business opportunities with analysis from benchmark data to provide insight to the Go-To-Market team.
The Analyst – Strategic Finance collaborates with senior cross-functional leaders to build business cases, informing strategic decisions, and partners with these leaders to evaluate, plan, execute, and measure performance of these strategic initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Interface with global pricing model to build unique financial and commercial models for new business opportunities to inform bid strategy
- Engage with Go-To-Market and Delivery Leadership to accurately and reliably estimate costs associated with potential client engagements
- Serve as strategic partner to senior leaders translating business problems into more specific questions that can be answered through analytics
- Cultivate and establish performance metrics using subjective understanding of the business to help optimize its performance and pricing efforts
-Prepare and present actionable recommendations from analysis in a clear and compelling format - Collaborates internally with accounting/finance team members to improve processes and solve for new challenges impacted by strategic initiatives
- Create simplified, consistent, and actionable solutions to abstract ideas balancing big picture thinking with acute atention to detail
Experience
- 2-4 years experience in Public Accounting/Consulting or similar Analyst role
Exposure
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Effective communicator and influencer - HR/Professional Services industry interest
- NetSuite and Salesforce experience is a plus
- Ability to juggle competing priorities
- Self-starter who can take tasks from start to finish
- Thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, required
- Master’s degree, preferred
