Education Communication Analyst

We are seeking an Education Communication Analyst for our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employer Service Coordinator team who can help us develop and maintain engaging, informative content that empowers our customers to achieve optimal well-being. Our team is responsible for the creation, management, and coordination of wellness seminars and management trainings for our EAP clients across the country. Our catalog spans a wide spectrum of topics in the wellness space -- mental and emotional health, physical well-being, workplace topics and skill-building, to name a few. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Education Communication Analyst is responsible for both content creation and the management of all EAP department collateral, including wellness seminars and management trainings, educational/support handouts, and disaster support materials. You will be responsible for the organization of over 1000 items (handouts, flyers, PowerPoint presentations and more) using various data management systems (SharePoint, WordPress, Excel, and internal systems). You will also help maintain the integrity of new and existing content as a copyeditor, reviewing and fact-checking to ensure content is brand and copyright-compliant, accurate, and reflects the latest research. You will assist in content development by researching clinical areas in behavioral health and workplace topics, distilling complex ideas into simple, accessible, and easy-to-understand content. You'll play a pivotal role in our goal to create compelling educational content that provides users with meaningful support, motivation, and real-world, actionable takeaways.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains the organization of all EAP department collateral using data management tools and platforms, including Excel, SharePoint, WordPress, and internal systems.
• Formats materials for distribution, such as creating and editing handouts and flyers using Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Reviews and updates existing materials per a time-bound annual schedule and customer feedback. Updates include refreshing seminar statistics, references, layout and design of presentations.
• Is an expert in and able to apply all visual and verbal brand components in compliance with various brands (Cigna/Evernorth) and product streams, including image selection, use of icons, color palette, and graphic design parameters.
• At the direction of the Program Management Advisors, develops new seminar content by researching clinical areas in behavioral health and workplace strategies and producing clear, engaging PowerPoint presentations with accompanying educational handouts and promotional materials.
• Assures that copyright rules are followed, citations and references are accurate and follow APA formatting guidelines, and Health Literacy standards and Clear Communication best practices are met.
• Collaborates with team of Employer Service Coordinators to meet complex client requests, which may include varying levels of customization of materials.
• Participate in the preparation and production of EAP National Wellness Webcasts, including developing polls, formatting materials for digital consumption, and proofing public-facing materials on a quarterly basis. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health field preferred or in English, Communications, Behavior Sciences, or related field.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise materials from a variety of sources.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform required tasks independently and with limited guidance.
• Experience producing written materials and/or presentations on behavioral health and wellness topics.
• Strong command of the English language with excellent grammatical and editorial skills.
• Ability to research clinical and professional topics, including use of online databases.
• Working knowledge of APA guidelines, copyright rules, appropriate citation of sources, and health literacy and plain language standards.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity to effectively balance competing priorities, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and InDesign and in-depth knowledge of video conferencing platforms, such as WebEx, are a plus.
• Proficiency in data management platforms such as SharePoint and WordPress a plus. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 60,600 - 101,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
