Job Description:
  • Provide real-time embedded Flight Software Engineering support for onboard, in-space operations of spacecraft.
  • Define preliminary flight software requirements.
  • Define preliminary flight software system & subsystems management concepts of operations to support architectural concepts and requirements definition.
  • Define flight software architectural functional decomposition and derived requirements.
  • Define Crew Command & Control Human Interface (CHI) Flight Software requirements.
  • Define flight software Interface Control Document (ICD).
  • Define flight software formal qualification.
  • Implement the flight software framework.

  • Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
  • 5 or more years of software development/engineering experience.
  • Experience with embedded, real-time programming.
  • Experience with Flight Software development and testing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
