What are the responsibilities and job description for the RECEPTIONIST position at Cimarron Trailers, Inc.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, screen and/or transfer calls to appropriate person if available
- Greet visitors coming in to Cimarron and determine who they need to see and facilitate the appropriate transfer to address the reason for their visit
- Send out order confirmations to dealers, data entry & creation of shipped parts and trailer invoices and prepare orders that go to shop after dealer confirmation
- Create MCO (Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin) and make serial plate stickers (VIN tags) for trailers
- Handle check out process of trailers by ensuring trailer packets are complete and ready for pick up by delivery drivers, interfacing & coordinating with drivers
- Observe and monitor visitor behaviors and attitudes and reports any problems or concerns to the appropriate manager
- File company documentation
- Required to follow all policies and procedures as directed by Cimarron Trailers
- Regular attendance is a critical function of this job
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Combination of Education and experience will be considered, however, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position is required.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proficient in and use software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and Microsoft Excel
- Must maintain a positive attitude and willingness to complete tasks in a cooperative and helpful manner
- Must be thorough, accurate and possess strong attention to detail
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Must possess the ability to work effectively with vendors, customers, and employees.
- Must excel at working in a team environment.
- Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a sense of urgency toward completing assigned tasks
- Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary and intellectual property of Cimarron Trailers

Physical Demands:
- Required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
- Required to be able to use hands, wrists and arms up to 8 hours per day including any overtime for writing, typing and data entry.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety Glasses while in plant environment.
- Hearing protection while in plant environment
- Safety Shoes
Work Environment:
- Combination of office, plant and outdoor environment.
- Exposed to any number of elements, extreme heat & cold, walking in and out of doors between buildings
- Exposed to loud noises while in plant environment
