What is a Payroll Manager?
Cinemark is seeking a Payroll Manager with knowledge of payroll functions in a high volume setting in processing in-house payroll for bi-weekly payroll for 18000 + employees. This individual needs to be detailed oriented, with sense of urgency while being able to multi-task and work in a fast pasted and changing environment. Confidential and discretion are required, as well as excellent customer service skills.
A Day in the Life of a Payroll Manager:
- Multi-state payroll knowledge is required
- Actively contribute and participate in the implementation of Workday Payroll as a key stakeholder
- Be a key contributor in projects impacting payroll
- Strong customer service skills and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues in a timely and responsive manner
- Strong time management skills with the ability to planning tasks in the future
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Manage compliance related to Payroll Taxes and Payments and Garnishment administration.
What You Will Need to Have:
- Certified Payroll Professional Preferred
- 5+ years in human resources, payroll or accounting
- Experience in retail or entertainment industry preferred
- Excellent mathematics and communication skills
