Cinergy is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with the day-to-day operations of our Event Sales office. The assistant sales manager will develop creative strategies to improve sales and manage the recruitment and operations team for our events. The Assistant Sales Manager will help with programs of all levels.
The candidate should demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and ensure that sales staff comply with company policies and guidelines. A top-performing assistant sales manager will consistently achieve excellence in customer service.

Primary Job Duties
- Striving to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Guiding the sales manager at all levels
- Motivate staff to execute successful events
- Monitoring the performance of the Event Operations team
- Supervising the location meets corporate standards of readiness for clients
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients
- Identifying creative opportunities to increase sales
- Ability to attend sales meetings and training sessions
- Performing all duties of the Sales Manager in cases of absence or emergency
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Proven experience in sales and customer service
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
