Job Summary: The Title Operations Assistant is a member of the Cinnaire Title Services team and performs a wide range of administrative support duties, including direct interface with our client base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail and overnight packages.
- Order Input and tracking.
- Obtaining tax information from county and city websites.
- Ordering and tracking of searches, including placing orders with ASK online title services.
- Preparing title commitments and making revisions.
- Scanning, file maintenance, and electronic storage organization.
- Pulling copies from Register of Deeds.
- Assistance with ordering office supplies.
Back-up Tasks:
- E-recording submissions and tracking.
- Issuing final policies and managing returned recorded documents.
- Following up with local authorities on water bills, final reads, nuisance bills, etc.
- Residential closing workups and disbursements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BA/BS from accredited college or university preferred but not required.
- Industry relevant work experience preferred but not required. Title insurance specific preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in data entry required.
